Influenster Go Vox Box

I received my “GO” Vox Box this month and the following serves as my review of the products:

PROFOOT Triad Orthotic, $10.49

These are actually perfect for me. I just started using arch supports in my shoes due to some ankle/knee problems and these orthotics were so comfortable. Definitely recommend. There are 3 zones of comfort with them: cradles balls of feet, supports arches, and cushions heels. It is also only 3/4 length so your toes are “free” and it feels great!

PROFOOT Pedi-Rock, $8.99

I just tried this rock for the first time tonight. I’ve never used anything like it, besides when I get pedicures. I wasn’t expecting much. Even when I was using it, I didn’t think it would work because it left a ton of black specks all over my feet. However, after I got it all washed off, my feet are SO SOFT. Love it. There was also some sort of foamy wash in the pedi-rock when I got it wet. I don’t know if that was supposed to be there or not, but my feet are still super soft so I’ll go with it.

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance, $3.99-$4.99

Ok, so I didn’t actually use these. Something about a scented tampon just screams infection to me so I didn’t give it a chance because that is not worth the risk for me.They are designed to neutralize odors for ultimate freshness and are a 360 degree design. If this sounds like your cup of tea, go for them! I’m sure they’re great, I just couldn’t bring myself to try it.

Blue Diamond Fruit Flavored Almonds, $3.19 for a 4oz bag

These weren’t horrible, but they also weren’t very good. They were coated with a powdery fake blueberry flavor. At first bite they were ok, but the aftertaste was gross for me. The almonds themselves were delicious though. I ended up just eating them without getting my tastebuds involved and they were great that way. I’m also not a big fan of the artificial blueberry flavoring though, so that may have played a role in my distaste.

Aqua Spa Relax Bath Soak, $9.99

Mmmmmm bubble bath.So relaxing and makes your skin feel so soft after a long work week. Also smells great!

Muller Greek Corner yogurts, $1.29

I don’t really like yogurt, like at all, so my review is not going to be the best advice. I got the strawberry Greek corner yogurt and it just wasn’t my favorite. Don’t take my word for it though. It was cool though! It had a little corner where the fruit was and the idea is to take the fruit and mix it up with the rest of the yogurt. I like the idea, just didn’t really like the product.

Overall, these were such great products. I’m so thankful for Influenster!

(Note: I received all of these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes)

Tastykake® Kandy Bar Kakes

I got this complimentary Reese’s sample from Influenster in order to try and test the product and then write a review.  Overall, the product is pretty good.  It had just the right amount of peanut butter and chocolate in it and it was kind of like a cake but also like a candy bar, if that makes sense. I think that was the goal of the product though– I’m not actually sure if it’s considered candy or cake to be honest.  The only problem I really saw with it is that it was VERY crummy.  That could of course be because it went through the whole shipping process and probably bumped around quite a bit. Or that could just be how it’s made.  Regardless, because ti was so crummy, it was very hard to eat without making a mess. The crumbs got everywhere and the chocolate started to melt very quickly after I opened it (in my air conditioned house).  So cleaning it up was no fun.  I still enjoyed this product but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.  I feel like I’ve had other stuff similar to this for probably less calories and it was just too messy to waste a whole meal on this sweet.

Don’t take this the wrong way though, it was very good, just not my personal favorite.  If you want to try it, you can get it as a single serving for $1.69 or in a family pack for $4.49– kind of expensive, I’d say.  ImageImage
